How Can a Neurofeedback Clinic Help Me?

Identifies the Cause of the Issue

The United States takes more psychotropic medications for these types of neurologic conditions than every other nation on the planet combined. Here at Palm Beach Health Center, we prefer to identify the root cause of the problem, so we use something called BrainCore Neurofeedback. At our neurofeedback clinic in West Palm Beach, we can actually analyze activity using a brain cap in a quantitative electroencephalogram. What that does, is it takes direct readings from the brain. There's no electricity going through there, meaning it's not actually electrocuting you. All it's doing is taking readings of different parts of your brain to analyze if there is too much or too little electricity flowing through your brain in different areas.

Knowing What is Causing the Issue Leads to Treating it Properly

BrainCore Neurofeedback actually analyzes the alpha, beta, theta, and delta waves of different parts of the brain to see if they're functioning normally or if they're under or overstimulated. Once the brain is mapped, we can then use that analysis to give treatments. The mapping gives an audio and visual neurological stimulus that does something called neuroplastic feedback. With this, we're actually increasing the parts of the brain that are under-stimulated or allowing the parts of the brain that were overstimulated to heal, thus fixing the cause of the problem.
